[ABOUT] Zippered Pillow Series

Hi everyone!

Introducing another new item... the Zippered Pillow Series! Each pillow and pillowcase is 16" x 16", except for the Multicolor Extralarge, which is 22" x 22". All fabric was generously donated and each pillowcase was sewn by Anntanya Shair. All raw edges have been serged unless specified. These pillowcases also feature a coloured coordinated zipper! There are ONLY TWO of each pillowcase per colour as the fabric is exclusive and limited. Get them while theyre still around! Great gift for the upcoming holidays or for any occasion!

Starburst Preview!

Hi everyone! So for the grand finale project, I have decided to create something out of Starburst wrappers!
It will be something like a zippered coin purse/wristlet/small makeup case.. It will be 100% hand-sewn zippered and may feature a handle.

This project was made with materials collected over the span of almost two years! There are more than 1000 wrappers, and still more are being collected everyday. The picture shows how a Starburst's wrapper (which would typically be thrown out) can be reused and created into something completely different. "One man's trash is another's treasure"

I would like to think everyone for their participation in helping by eating Starburst so I could get my wrappers :)

[UPDATE] Hi everyone, I'm sorry to announce that I will be unable to complete this project and it takes a considerable amount of that that I dont have. :( Hopefully, it will be completed soon and photos will be posted!

[ABOUT] Handmade Hardcover Notepads

Hello everyone!

I'd like to introduce a new item .. the Handmade Hardcover Notepads!The cover is handmade from scrapbooking paper and recycled cardboard materials. Notepad paper is regular A4 paper trimmed down. They come with 50 sheets/each of plain white paper. Each sheet is removable; they can all be torn out. Notepads come in 3" x 5". They can be written/drawn on any way you want! Prices vary depending on the size or materials used; range from $8-$20. Notepads may be customized, so please let me know about your requests. (i.e. using different paper.. changing cover material/design, different sizes, etc.)

Each notepad is 100% handmade in Vancouver, BC by Anntanya Shair.
(The only non-handmade parts are the materials; i.e. plain A4 paper)

Hello everyone!
Welcome to my blog, dedicated to fundraising for China Missions Trip 2011!

My name is Anntanya Shair and I am a Grade 11 student at Carver Christian High School. This upcoming March, our grade will be visiting China as a cultural outreach trip. We will be visiting schools, churches and senior homes to teach English, make crafts with the children and interact with the community. Each student is responsible for raising enough money for their portion of the trip. I would like to do my best in raising as much money on my own, and I wanted to create a few handmade projects to sell.
